become a member

The acga welcomes applications for membership from galleries who meet its standards of ethics, professionalism and excellence.

Membership of the acga is by application, and is subject to satisfaction of membership criteria and a rigorous selection process. In particular, members must, among other things:

    • > Demonstrate a significant commitment to the representation of living Australian artists
    • > Be of good standing in terms of the quality of artists represented and art exhibited
    • > Be of good repute professionally, ethically and financially.

The acga has the right to reject applications in its absolute discretion and without reason.

acga members commit to various documents as amended from time to time, including the acga Constitution, the acga Code of Ethics, and the acga/NAVA Joint Code of Practice for Commercial Galleries and the Artists they Represent.
